Ecclesiastes 10:12
Words from a wise man's mouth are gracious, but a fool is consumed by his own lips.
When wise means to just be quiet and let someone else talk themselves into understanding, do I be quiet? Can I be quiet and listen? Listen for God's wisdom? Do I flap my lips just to hear myself supposedly speak wisely? I do sometimes, yes, I do. :0( I don't want to be labeled a fool, but here I am.
God I pray that you will give me the wisdom to speak when you want me to speak and to do so with YOUR grace.
